Staff is great. Breakfast is yummy. It’s also overpriced but it’s good breakfast. Dinner was the meal we had most recently here and oh my god it was disgusting. I would never recommend eating here unless it’s for breakfast.

Delicious sandwiches- Highly recommend the turkey club. The atmosphere is great and the staff is lovely. Will definitely be coming back!

Friendly staff, owner, yummy food, and nice bright natural light atmosphere!

It was a good, all-American eatery. The food and milkshake were tasty. The coffee, at 7pm, was strong enough to put hair on your chest and to tow your car away too! The only downside was the price, being a couple dollars more a menu item (when compared to similar dinners) based solely on location. That said, not a bad choice for a Friday night.

I certainly liked the dishes and service, awesome location next to my house. The staff members are always super friendly. Highly recommended.

Tasty breakfast. A little pricy for what it was but nice service. Gets crowded so come early for a table if your party is big since there's no easy spot to wait.

Genuine traditional diner menu. Very tasteful breakfast. Perfect!ðŸ‘

Always love the Palo Alto Creamery. My daughter and I always go the day before Thanksgiving as a little tradition we started a few years ago. Can get crowded at times, but well worth the wait.

Fav so far was buttermilk coffee muffin, fluffy and nor overdone with sugar, pie taste has also been consistently good for years, it cheers me up by simply peek at there bakery section

The food was very basic and plain and the burgers didn’t have any flavor. The tortilla soup was surprisingly delicious. The price was not worth it. The old Creamery is right up the street, less expensive and very good.

First time coming here. Wow! Chocolate Danger Cake is amazing ðŸ˜lots of different ice cream flavors. YUMMY!!! Old fashioned Juke box and it's 3 songs for 25 cents. Best way to describe: nostalgic ice cream soda fountain & burgers ♥ï¸â™¥ï¸â™¥ï¸

Great place to eat with a solid menu. Lots of things to choose from - burgers, pizzas, roasts and the like. I ordered a California Burger and a chocolate milkshake. The burger was delicious but the milkshake was the real star - nice and thick, and absolutely delicious. Would definitely reccommend.

Amazing milkshakes! So so good! Been coming to this place for nearly 15 years...consistently great! Best diner in the Bay Area.

Food was delicious, service attentive and atmosphere fun.

After going for close to 20 years I still crave my 4-5 go to comfort foods they have at the Creamery. Breakfast, lunch and dinner food whenever you want. Burgers, fish and chips, skillets, or even the BLT are made with great ingredients and very consistent.

Love this place each time I visit. Fairly regular since 10+ years ago.

The Creamery is a Palo Alto institution. The food is as great as the service and atmosphere. A classic diner through and through.

My wife and I got ice cream on top of giant chocolate chip cookies. The both were good but I'd say this place is way overpriced. 9 dollars for a milkshake is a bit excessive. The service was a little slow and not very attentive, but pleasant when we did have interaction. My biggest reason for docking it 2 stars is the value: I think you can get much better ice cream for your money, even in Palo Alto.

Good place for breakfast. You have an option to build your own omlette. The signature scrambles are good too. On the downside its quite expensive for a diner.

I sent my friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are appetizing and the stuff is very friendly and cooperative. always when we go to this place we pass a delightful time. warmly recommended.

Classic American fare! There is something for Everyone in the menu..and it's delicious! The staff were so sweet and attentive!

Great place with many varieties to choose from. I got the brioche French toast with ham steak & scrambled eggs. Has the old fashioned diner feel to it and I love that they have fresh loaves of bread for sale. My reason for 4 stars is because the ham steak was a bit dry & I got my eggs pretty late. Our waitress was very nice so that swayed my rating too!

This is my 3rd dining experience at the Palo Alto Creamery. I have never been disappointed and today was no exception. A simple Reuben Sandwich with cole slaw and onion rings on the side. All at our table have eaten at top tier restaurants across the country, and this meal just made us smile.Good service with, with a pleasant ambiance I will return.Chris Stromwall

Ordered... Two eggs over easy, bacon, hash brown, sour toast 17.50Received... two eggs hard, over cooked bacon hard, mushy hash browns Never going back.

Didn’t love it. It felt over priced for what you get, it doesn’t have a kids menu which feels weird for a burger joint. It felt like the waiters weren’t happy to be there, and weren’t very friendly. I was surprised it got such high reviews.

Good wholesome food with a fun 1950's diner feel. Coffee is so-so, portions are big and food is flavorful. Price is reasonable for portion size. I keep coming back and voting with my wallet.

Good pie. to be honest, the service could be a little bit quicker on delivering a brownie and pie, since these we're already cooked items and all they had to do was serve it. Still, if I just have to wait 8 minutes in order to get some pretty decent pie, I guess that's good. Also we were out the door for under 20 bucks with a nice dessert for two people. Two enthusiastic thumbs up. Fine holiday fun for the entire family.

Went there yesterday. It's ok nothing to rave about. Expensive price point. Great staff though.
Akash Goel
Great hospitality. Very good staff. Great food. I had the butter croissant and it was very rich in taste and very fresh.
Bart Locanthi
Old fashioned milk shakes and amazing pies. For example the key lime pie.

I haven’t been in long while. I have enjoyed it through the years. Probably been going there since the mid-seventies. Food and atmosphere is good. The history/memories is better. I need to get back.

This has been one of my favorite places for milkshakes for several years. They have a great selection of flavors and the taste is unlike anything I have ever sampled anywhere else. The food options are not that great but not bad either. If only the milkshakes did not have so many calories!
Jerry McKinney
Amazing. Two trips and five stars was too easy. Only had dessert. You will not be disappointed. Great value and better flavor. Cant wait to go back and get something else.
Ethel Cross
Great as usual. 29 min wait quick food delivery.

Probably the worst Americana style diner I have been to. Soda machine was busted. Chili burger was covered in some kind of black-bean onion stew that didn't really resemble Texas chili. Fries were overcooked and hard. Booth seating was weirdly split by wooden partitions making 4 top booths into awkward 2 top boots.Staff were pleasant and responsive. Hence two stars instead of one.

If you want good quality diner food this is the place to go. Reasonable prices, great quality and excellent service.
Hana McTaggart
Cool old fashioned style, nice fast service. We only had a dessert here - milk shake and banana cake, recommend both!

Fun place to eat. Love the “malt shop†vibe though that term doesn’t do it true justice. Gained a couple of pounds just drooling over the luscious looking, over stuffed pies and giant cookies. My reuben sandwich and slaw were outstanding. My companion couldn’t stop marveling at the perfectly crisp texture and taste of his sweet potato fries. Looking forward to my next visit.

Amazing place! Is classic and retro diner with Jukebox! All pies are very delicious! You will love it! Is really good for kids and elderly people! Nice environment!

Authentic 50’s style restaurant. Good food and awesome bakery. A bit unhealthy but worth it :). Try their milk shake. Same as in the childhood. Pure nostalgia.
Steven Lee
Average food but good service and fun dinner atmosphere. A bit pricey for what you get.
Eddy Yu
A nice place to gather with friends and family. The mixed berry pie with a side of ice cream is the best!
Kevin Wang
Diner with good food and desserts, but Palo Alto prices. Almost makes you feel like you're not in Palo Alto anymore, until you see they have a burger served with Dom Perignon

Amazing dinner experience! Very nice quality food, service, and atmosphere.
Joy Ludlow
Great milkshakes and super friendly staff

I always dream of a place where I can get brunch at midnight. Though this place closes at midnight (at least on the weekend) that is close enough for me. I sometimes imagine all day how I will get brunch that night, and then a milkshake. This place is amazing. My one disappointment was the night I went and didn't realize they closed at 10pm on Tuesday, and saw them mopping the floor to the soundtrack of my crushed dreams. Everything else is perfection.
